A lot of us have very fast-paced lives, the feeling of stress from careers or family situations from time to time is not uncommon. Stress is a normal human emotion, although people do cope differently when in high stress levels. Some emotions that are felt by somebody that is in a stressful situation can be a feeling of worry and/or agitation, if it isn’t dealt with right, it could lead to a very serious depression. People who are in this depressive state of mind find it hard to regain their feeling of normal happiness. At times mood swing very relying on their daily circumstances. A depressed person could awake in a good mood, then a single phone call can change their whole day for the worst. Those who suffer from serious depression feel they are no longer able to control their mood or cope well with other moods.

Nobody can pinpoint what exactly “causes” serious moods of depression since many contributing factors many be included, i.e., genetics, stress, health conditions. There are noticeable signs to indicate that a person may be in a serious depression and may need help. Those who were once cheerful and outgoing become despondent, they may not take pleasure in activities that once brought them joy. Depression can make a person feeling exhausted and tired, leaving them with little motivation. It is likely depression if you or you know somebody that is suffering from these symptoms. There are many people that feel depression and they are embarrassed to ask for the help that they need, in turn you might have to ask the person yourself. It can be very hard to escape a bout of depression, consulting with a psychiatrist or a therapist may be the only way to get the right help that is needed. A doctor can give a prescription that will help control the depression symptoms.
