Types of Stress – Experiencing A Life Set Free

Many people deal with stress in their lives; often on a regular basis. Stress is now intertwined in most of our lives just like it belonged there. Stress frequently lessens both the quality in our lives as well as the length of our lives. Stress is often categorized three different ways.

Types of Stress

Acute Stress

Acute stress is what frequently comes to mind whenever we think of stress. It is the most common type of stress. It is short-term and also stems from recent activities or things we perceive are coming in the near future. Perhaps an individual cut you off while driving and you really are angry plus really feel stressed by that event. Maybe your child obtained a bad grade and you’re simply upset at her. Possibly things did not go well in the office today and you’re simply anxious about what is on its way next. These are momentary situations that cause stress in our lives.

Episodic Acute Stress

Episodic acute stress is when there is a frequent impact of stress in your life due to a temperament or means of handling events. Examples of this are the Type A personality or maybe the one that is often rushed, in a big hurry, and never on time. It may just be the one that seems to be in continual turmoil with things certainly not going right. Or, maybe it is the one that continually worries as well as knows the modern world is definitely coming-to-an-end. It appears that stress is invariably present in their lives.

Chronic Stress

This is actually the continuous stress that merely hammers away at you physically and emotionally. It seems to never end, day in and day out as the challenges of your life persist. There isn’t any relief from the ceaseless stress on you mentally as well as your body starts to display signs of chronic stress. You simply do not see a way forward due to the circumstances you are experiencing. You might have a constant lack of money and can’t afford medical insurance, car repairs, or perhaps basic requirements such as food. Perhaps you might have chronic stress as a result of unemployment, or to a lack of ability to provide for your family. Possibly it is the consequence of a failing marriage or other failing family relationships. Grief or the serious health issues associated with a spouse can also lead to chronic stress.

There are other types of stress but most of us the categories are irrelevant. All we actually need is a way out from the physical and emotional burdens of stress.
