Sure Pilates Will Sculpt Your Body, But What About Easing Back Pain?
One of the reasons I started doing Pilates was to lose weight and regain my figure. One of the bonuses of doing Pilates that I learned later was that many people use Pilates to ease back pain. Fact is, I had to stop and think; when was the last time my back hurt? I’ve been battling back pain for many years, on and off, but recently, since I started my Pilates program, I haven’t had that needling back pain. Was there a connection? I thought I was just getting stronger, but the truth is, without what the Pilates program calls “core strength” the rest of our body suffers the strain of trying to function without being supported. Great information! Great exercise program!
