How to Remove Fat from your Belly

Are you having problems with the amount of fat in your stomach? If you want to lose fatty belly, then you should first do a bit of research. For one thing, it’s not always the stomach that’s the problem. The part between the breastbone and navel is actually the stomach. Breastbone to pelvis is called the lower abdomen. Most people are of the misconception that this part is the stomach and thus undergo stomach flattening exercises. Although these are equally effective, they’re not really targeting the area you want to work on.

Now, before we go on to the exercises that would work your lower abdomen, let’s just get one thing clear first. Reducing fat in a specific body part is not possible. Fat is evenly distributed and removed from the body. Hence, when it comes to lose fat exercises, your main goal would be to sculpt the area, not burn the fat from it.

Routines for the Lower Abdomen

Chair Leg Lift Exercises
You’ll need a chair for this one. Now, lean back on the chair’s back, as flat as you can. Now, holding on to any type of support, the chair’s arms or perhaps a desk in front, gently lift your knees towards your chest. Hold the position for a few seconds before lowering them again.

Straight Legged Stretch Routine.
You’ll need to lie down for this exercise. When in position, first raise you head and hands off the floor, imitating the first movements of sit-ups. Now, bend your legs and have them raised at a 45 degree angle. Now, count up to five seconds before lowering your legs without letting them touch the floor. Retract the legs and repeat. Repeat about ten times per day.

You can perform these routine everday. It might be hard at first but you’ll start to feel the effects after some time. Also, pay particular attention to your posture. If the neck starts to hurt or other body parts that are not included in the exercise, then you might be doing it wrong.

Now, if you are really determined to lose fat stomach, then you might want to start eating healthy. After all, what you eat is also a big factor when it comes to losing weight. Ideally, you should create a diet for yourself wherein processed foods are practically nonexistent.

You might have heard this a dozen times but it’s always best to stick to fruits and vegetables. Since it’s very much true, you’ll find this advice at almost every weight loss article. Pills and other supplements are not really good options so you might want to skip them.

The most important thing when it comes to losing weight is the motivation. Stick to your diet and never waver from it as much as possible. Without this, you’ll find yourself getting more and more frustrated with an ineffective diet.
