I felt totally at ease during my consultation with Dr. Candice McCowin, DC because she genuinely seemed interested in why I was there. She asked about the birth, about my lifestyle, my eating habits, and sleeping habits. On that day, it already seemed she was dealing with me as a whole person instead of the symptoms that have brought me there.

The first adjustment was a success! The pain in my shoulder, neck, and head withered away immediately. Although I expect for relapse because of what I have gone through with the pregnancy and c-section. It was a matter of the vertebral subluxations (spinal imbalance putting pressure on the nervous system) still being present, and the best thing to do is to keep the spine maintained over time.

It only took a couple of treatments for me to realize how much my young family could benefit from chiropractic care. I brought my new baby, Sophia, to see Dr. McCowin. My main purpose was on what she had gone through during the c-section. Also, she was spitting up frequently, which is not something that I remembered from when my son was a baby.

After witnessing Sophia’s positive results, I then decided Joseph might get over his constipation and insomnia with Dr. McCowin’s chiropractic care as well. It’s been a year that Joseph underwent Dr. McCowin’s care and the results have been phenomenal. He lost his problem going to sleep at night and his constipation trouble.

I only regret not finding Great Life Chiropractic earlier. I have learned from studies that instead of waiting to begin after delivery, women can recover easier from pregnancy and birth after having chiropractic care.
