Being in a positive state is good for us, and the longer we spend in them the more positive changes that can be made.

Many people believe that our emotions steer us. And it’s true sometimes it’s hard to not give in to the way we feel but it’s not impossible. Imagine yourself depressed and anxious. You feel that you have no control over your emotions. But imagine doing something silly at that very moment, say you were to scream out the window “I love bananas!”

You see how you would feel different, if only for a second. This just proves that you have the power to change your emotions. Making long term changes takes time, but there are powerful techniques that you can apply to your daily routine to help you take control of you emotions.
